SENEHASA Education and Resources Center runs under the Ministry of Defense (MoD) and the Ranaviru Seva Authority (RVSA) recently organized a special educational and therapeutic awareness program on Sinhala and Tamil New Year ceremony under the directions of Acting Chairperson, RVSA, and Supervising Officer, SENEHASA, Mrs. Sonia Kottegoda and Brigadier Raja Gunasekara, Commandant, SENEHASA at its headquarter premises at Narahenpita.

This virtual ceremony was organized with the aim of imparting educational knowledge on New Year customs and traditional games to children with special educational needs of war hero families and changing the unanimous mentality of children.

This special educational and therapeutic awareness program is also expected to be shared with all SENEHASA children through Zoom technology.

The SENEHASA, Commandant, Brigadier Raja Gunasekara, Senior Officers, and several other academic and non-academic staff members also performed a significant task to succeed in this event following existing health guidelines.
