The Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival at Senehasa Education Center was held on 26 April 2024, at the Center's premises. The commandant, all officers, staff, parents, and children were all in attendance, sharing in the beauty of the occasion.

Following the lighting of the customary oil lamp and featuring traditional rituals festival commenced with the participation of SERRIC children, parents, and staff. This New Year festival included a variety of special games and activities, with a special focus on providing entertainment for the children.

Active participation of all the children in these activities was highlighted by their exceptional enthusiasm and as a token of appreciation for their achievements, gifts were given to all them. The New Year celebration which was meticulously arranged and lasted throughout the day, brought immense joy and created lasting memories for all attendees, including the special needs children.
